Welcome to the Department of Computer Science at S.M. Joshi College, Hadapsar. Our department is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in Computer Science theory, practical programming skills, and problem-solving abilities to prepare them for the ever-evolving tech industry.

Department of Bachelors of Science in Computer Science was established in June 2015 and Masters of Science in Computer Science in June 2022. It is one of the most significant departments in the college. At present more than 500 students have enrolled for the courses. The Department offers both UG and PG programs.

Program Highlights

Duration: Bachelors -3 years, Masters - 2 years

Eligibility:

1. Educational Qualification: Applicants must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent)from a recognized board.
2. Subject Requirements:  Mathematicsis a mandatory subject at the 10+2 level.
3. Minimum Marks:  Candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate score in their 10+2 examinations, usually between 55% to 60%.

Degrees Awarded: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Masters of Science in Computer Science
