Gas Chromatography (GC) is an analytical technique used to separate and analyze compounds that can be vaporized without decomposition. It is commonly used to test the purity of substances, identify compounds in a mixture, and quantify components. Key features: The sample is vaporized and carried by an inert gas (mobile phase) through a column coated with a liquid or polymer (stationary phase). Different compounds travel at different speeds, allowing separation. A detector measures and records the time it takes for each compound to pass through the column (retention time), producing a chromatogram. मध्ययुगीन मराठी वाङ्मयाचा इतिहास (प्रारंभ ते इ.स. १८१७): उद्दिष्ट्ये मराठी वाङ्मयाचा इतिहास प्राचीन, मध्ययुगीन आणि आधुनिक अशा टप्प्यांमध्ये विभागलेला असतो. त्यातील मध्ययुगीन मराठी वाङ्मयाचा काळ (इ.स. १२७५ ते इ.स. १८१७) हा संतसाहित्य, भक्ती चळवळ, लोकसाहित्य, वारकरी संप्रदाय, वाङ्मयीन परंपरा आणि सामाजिक परिवर्तन यांचा काळ आहे. या कालखंडाच्या अभ्यासाचे उद्दिष्ट्ये खालीलप्रमाणे मांडता येतील: मुख्य उद्दिष्ट्ये (Objectives of Studying Medieval Marathi Literature – 1275 to 1817) 1. मराठी वाङ्मयाचा ऐतिहासिक विकास समजणे मध्ययुगीन काळात मराठी साहित्यात झालेल्या बदलांचा मागोवा घेणे. तत्कालीन सामाजिक, धार्मिक व राजकीय परिस्थितीचा वाङ्मयावर झालेला प्रभाव समजणे. 2. संत वाङ्मयाची भूमिका स्पष्ट करणे ज्ञानेश्वर, तुकाराम, नामदेव, एकनाथ, चोखामेळा, जनाबाई आदी संतकवींच्या रचनांचा अभ्यास. भक्तीवाद, समता, वैराग्य, आध्यात्मिकता यासारख्या संकल्पनांचा उलगडा. 3. विविध वाङ्मयप्रकारांची ओळख करणे अभंग, ओवी, गाथा, भारूड, प्रवचन, कथासरिता, पोवाडा, लावणी यांसारख्या वाङ्मयप्रकारांचा अभ्यास. त्यांच्या रचनात्मक वैशिष्ट्ये व भाषाशैली समजणे. 4. भाषा आणि शैलीचा अभ्यास करणे मध्ययुगीन मराठीची व्याकरणात्मक वैशिष्ट्ये, शब्दवैभव, भाषाशैली आणि बोली प्रभाव यांचा अभ्यास. यामधून त्या काळातील सामाजिक वर्गांचे भाषिक स्थान समजणे. 5. धार्मिक संप्रदायांचे योगदान समजणे वारकरी, नाथ, रामदासी, वचनकार, शैव व वैष्णव संप्रदायांचा मराठी वाङ्मयाच्या विकासातील सहभाग. या संप्रदायांनी लोकांपर्यंत धर्माचे लोकशाहीकरण कसे केले, हे समजणे.
