Mathematics is the Language of Science which provides Basic Tools to almost all the branches of Science and many branches of Commerce and Arts. Keeping in view the importance of the subject the department of Mathematics was established in the year 1986 (F.Y.B.Sc. & S.Y.B.Sc.) and introduced Mathematics as special subject for T.Y.B.Sc from 2021-2022. Today we have F.Y/S.Y./T.Y.B.Sc. Mathematics courses. Apart from the class room teaching, the department organizes Online Quiz, seminar, Expert Talks, Career counseling, Educational tours, Visit to various Institution imparting education in Higher Mathematics like IITM, IUCAA etc. To make the students competent for the job, Short Term courses like Sci-Lab, C-programming are run by the department. The Department focuses all round development of the students. The department has well equipped lab with experienced faculty. The department regularly organizes varies activities for the students and staff.
